Collaborations and Exchanges Developed with the University of California at Davis

08 July 2016

A 5-year agreement has recently been signed

On April 19th, the Rector of Université Laval and the Dean of the FSAA travelled to the University of California at Davis (College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences)  to sign a partnership agreement (Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)). For a duration of 5 years, the MOU will allow for student and professor exchanges, research partnerships and distance learning. UC Davis’ international reputation and its unique programs in the United States, specifically its Master Brewers program, its program in wine making and appreciation, and its consumer sciences program (Robert Mondavi Institute and the World Food Centre)—which are complementary to our own—represent a strategic advantage for the FSAA's development. Their programs also offer exceptional opportunities to share resources, whether in the fields of agronomy, engineering, agri-food economics, nutrition or food science.
