Context

The responsibility of an educational leadership chair is to provide teaching and pedagogical innovation in a specific sector. The Educational Leadership Chair for the Collective Marketing of Agricultural Products helps develop a fundamental field of teaching in agricultural economics programs, oriented toward the organization and functioning of the collective marketing of agricultural products.

Mandate

To do so, the Education Leadership Chair for Collective Marketing
aims to:

  • Develop a centre of excellence in the teaching of collective marketing by integrating teaching techniques that promote optimal learning, based on real problems.
  • Base teaching on the acquisition of knowledge, as well as on interactions between students, between students and the instructor, interactions with professionals in the sector, problem-based learning, and critical thinking.
  • To teach future professionals in the sector about the collective marketing mechanism, and help them understand its theoretical nature and effects on product coordination in order to understand the scope of the future challenges of this type of marketing.
