Professor Laurent Bazinet Gives a Second Life to Waste

Laurent Bazinet, a professor in the Department of Food Sciences, is currently working on valorizing industrial by-products. With his team, he has developed a process known as “electrodialysis with a filtration membrane,” which allows for the extraction of different residues from nutraceutical molecules with beneficial health effects.
